Inspiration Healthcare Group PLC (LON:IHC) announced its subsidiary SLE received regulatory approval from the National Medical Products Administration to sell the enhanced version of the SLE6000 in China.
SLE has received an immediate order from its distributor in the Asian country worth GBP250,000 to be delivered next month.
The approval is for the top of the range SLE6000 model that includes various features such as enhanced High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation, the OxyGenie patented oxygen control algorithm which helps maintain infants at their targeted oxygen saturation levels, volume targeted ventilation, End-Tidal CO2 monitoring and greater non-invasive modes.
The AIM-listed firm acquired SLE, a specialist neonatal ventilator manufacturer, in July 2020.
“We are delighted that SLE has received approval for the SLE6000 in what is potentially one of our largest markets and also to announce that we have hit the ground running with a large order for immediate delivery,” said chief executive Neil Campbell in a release.
“China represents a significant growth opportunity for the Group and we look forward to working with our partners and distributors to achieve our full potential there and in promoting our products and technology to achieve continued growth in the future.”
