Uvisan, which provides disinfection using the power of UV light, will supply Aardman with UV-C disinfection cabinets.
The animation studio is using the cabinets in its production studios in Bristol, England, to clean puppets, props and rigging kit, including puppets for the new ‘Shaun the Sheep’ movie.
The AIM-listed firm has also supplied to other high-profile clients including school and universities, NHS trusts and other corporate sectors.
The Uvisan cabinet has also been recommended by Hewlett Packard, after extensive testing, for safe disinfection of their VR headsets.
Uvisan has installed its first new UV room disinfection system, “Cleanroom by Uvisan” into Chichester University.
This system uses fixed UV-C lights and a proprietary control and safety system to disinfect an empty room in less than 10 minutes.
Chichester University will use Uvisan’s technology to cleanse its recording studio and equipment to speed up handover between user groups.
Uvisan expects “Cleanroom by Uvisan” to be ready for full commercial launch by the end of the month.
