The product walk-through will take place as part of an event entitled The Rise in Alternative Payments – A Remedy for Boosting Sales and Customer Retention?
Hosted by Ariane Murphy, Mode’s head of marketing, the panel discussion will feature L.K.Bennett chief executive Darren Topp, Mode’s chief commercial officer, Rita Liu, and its chief product officer, Janis Legler.
“The expert panellists will discuss how retailers can leverage alternative payments to eliminate friction for consumers, increase payment efficiency, boost conversion rates and improve the overall customer experience,” investors were told.
Mode will deliver the product demo following an interactive panel discussion.
The novel payments and loyalty solution powered by Open Banking will go live in the second quarter, providing merchants with “an alternative to rising card interchange fees” and boost loyalty amongst consumers.
The fintech company said the new solution has been announced to counter a recent plan by payments giant Mastercard Inc (NYSE:MA) to increase card payment fees, adding the solution will initially be available in the UK but an expansion into Europe will be considered “in due course”.
